About this Role
We are searching for strong C/C++ developers to work on existing and new applications.
A passion for problem solving and a natural talent at object oriented and multi-threaded programming within a Windows and/or Unix/Linux environment is an essential requirement, plus an understanding of Agile development techniques and an ability to produce robust and exceptionally well, but not overly, engineered and maintainable code with good project documentation.
You should have a good working knowledge of tools such as gcc, gdb, Visual Studio, valgrind, Cygwin and subversion (svn), with other desirable skills including wxWidgets, strong Unix shell scripting, advanced makefile techniques, knowledge of compiler internals, low level systems and network oriented programming.
With the nature of our business, experience with PHP and web technologies is also highly beneficial in this role.
Applicants both new to the industry and those with some years under their belt will be considered, with our recruitment process looking for talent and potential rather than just two years of this and three years of that.
A CV detailing experience plus tools and technologies where a working knowledge has been gained should be provided with your application. This should also include links to any published works such as articles, code projects/git repos, blogs, websites where you are the sole or primary contributor.
