Current job vacancies in the Canterbury, Kent area

C/C++ and/or PHP developers (ref: 495)

We currently have two positions for developers with strong C/C++ and/or PHP skills on Unix or Windows platforms. We are looking for creative and self-motivated people who are happy to work in a small team or individually, with support and guidance always available when required.

Current projects include enhancements to existing products, new product development and website creation, plus ongoing customer support.

Experience with Subversion/Tortoise, Apache configuration, Joomla, Ajax, Javascript, Unix shell scripting and Visual Studio would be useful, and knowledge of low level programming and compiler writing/internals is a bonus for C/C++ persons.

A degree is not mandatory as your skill and creativity as a developer is our main interest and focus. We are looking for developers whose work is robust and maintainable, who can demonstrate in depth knowledge of the languages they use. Applicants will be expected to take 1 or 2 tests to help them demonstrate their abilities and skills.

Salary and discretionary bonus will be dependent on what you have to offer as an individual and the skills/talent combination.
