2. Licensing the Encoder

After installing the full version of the ionCube Encoder it is necessary to obtain a license file. The first step is to generate a license request. To do this, choose the License Request Generator option on the Windows Start Menu, in the ionCube PHP Encoder section. A Window will appear with instructions on where to email the generated request file.

After the license request has been processed, a license file will be emailed to you at the email address which you registered at the ionCube web site. This file should be saved as licdata.txt in the ionCube PHP Encoder installation folder. It will then be automatically loaded by the Encoder.
